Richard T. Gill's short stories in the Atlantic and the New Yorker were widely anthologized. His story, “The Secret,” won the Atlantic Monthly First Short Story Prize, and another story, “The Code,” was selected by the New Yorker editiors for inclusion in Stories from the New Yorker, 1950-60.

Most recently, he published his first novel:

The Taking of Farnham Hall: Searching for Reality in the 1960s (a novel), 2003

A story set in a fictional university during the the turbulent  era of the 1960s.
